Jade V. Robinson is an award-winning Canadian actress who specializes in theater, screen, and voice acting. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Jade has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where she honed her accent/dialect, movement, and clowning skills.
Her training began at age 4 in The Speech Studio, where she studied multiple eras and forms of theater and went on to get her ARCT and ATCL (Associate diplomas) in Speech & Drama from the Royal Conservatory of Music and Trinity College London, respectively. Jade was also awarded the National Gold Medal of Canada for Speech Arts & Drama Performance in 2015.
As a half-Chinese woman and wellness advocate, Jade is passionate about dismantling stereotypes, promoting diversity in the industry, and using serio-comedy to address such issues as self-talk and body image. Recent roles include: Alvin in Abracadavers (Seasons 2, 3), Aiden in Smoke, the voice of Hanako in the storytelling podcast Georgie Romero is Done for, and the voice of Ashley in the animated short First Period.
When Jade isn’t acting, she can be found hiking, reading, singing along to musicals, listening to true-crime podcasts, or hanging out with her pet turtle, Donna.
